McCloud, CA, 6/2008. This #1713, the fourth car to carry this number in McCloud's history, was the kitchen car where all
meals for the Shasta Sunset Dinner Train were prepared once the company took the job over from an outside vendor. The company shops built the car from a bulkhead flatcar, former Northwestern
Oklahoma Railroad #21203, and an office trailer. A fire heavily damaged the car in late 2002, but the railroad quickly rebuilt it.
